Forest fires ravaged southern province of Quebec, the Canadian view of the damaged city, Quebec City and Montreal.50 fires were active on Monday, the eight are still burning out of control according to the CBC. Smoke from the fire started to drift to the U.S. border, which is visible in many parts of New England. The province has already deployed 223 people in Ontario, Quebec, and Alaska, but fire information officer Gwen Eamer said BC had more resources to spare."We are pleased that we are able to do this year," he said.
